Creative industries’ leading companies look to Schulich School of Business students to navigate complex challenges and grow their business

 TORONTO, January 25, 2018 - In a time of rapid advances in technology, evolving media consumption and consumers demanding more engaging, immersive experiences, companies are seeking top talent to help analyse issues and develop sound solutions that help them build their brands, maximize revenue and stay ahead of their competition.

Today’s 3rd annual Sports, Media and Entertainment Internship Fair at Schulich School of Business, the only event of its kind in Canada, will showcase career opportunities in the ultra-competitive, and passion-driven creative industries.

This year’s edition is poised to set Fair records for a number of companies (19) and available roles. MLSE, TIFF, New Balance, MKTG Canada and Rogers Media are some of the industry-leading companies showcasing opportunities across various functions: Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Accounting, Administration, and more.

The Fair’s founder, Sport Marketing Instructor Vijay Setlur says the event provides a more tangible link between academia and career opportunities and an opportunity for students to pursue their passion a pivotal time in their development.
