York U and Harinder S. Takhar, Ontario Minister of Government Services, celebrate success of Internationally Educated Professionals

Toronto, November 7, 2012 – On Nov. 8, Harinder S. Takhar, Ontario Minister of Government Services, will join with York University to celebrate the success of foreign-trained professionals from the Bridging Program for Internationally Educated Professionals (IEPs), whom have graduated, obtained meaningful employment or helped others along the way.
The program enables IEPs to break the barriers to employment in Ontario and obtain meaningful employment – securing a position that matches their education, credentials and experience. It has made the difference in lives of many new Canadians, attracts candidates from more than 30 countries and creates an individual, customized action plan for each IEP that is tailored to their goals and career path.
