SECURITY BULLETIN: Robbery at Curtis Lecture Halls

TORONTO, Jan. 27, 2012 – York Security Service and Toronto Police Service (TPS) are requesting assistance from the York community with the investigation of a robbery in Curtis Lecture Halls on Thursday, January 26, at approximately 5:35pm.

The victim, a male Seneca@York student, reported to York Security just after midnight that he had been robbed of his Blackberry Bold and Louis Vuitton toque and sustained minor injuries in the incident, which began on the podium behind the Ross building, continued at Curtis Lecture Halls and ended on Campus Walk.

The seven suspects are described as follows:

  • Six suspects are male, Black, 20-23 years old (plus or minus 3 years), 5’7” in height, 154 lbs., thin build, brown eyes, black curly hair, wearing black jacket and black pants.
  • The other suspect is male, Black, 5’ 7" in height, 200 lbs., bald or shaved hair, chunky face, black jacket and black pants.
