SECURITY BULLETIN: Inappropriate photographing of female members of the York community

TORONTO, January 11, 2012 – York Security Service and Toronto Police Service (TPS) are requesting assistance from the York community in locating a male suspect photographing female members of the York community in three separate incidents.

It was reported that the suspect took pictures of female community members with his camera phone on Friday, January 6 in the Scott Library and in two other incidents on Monday, January 9 in the Curtis Lecture Hall women’s washrooms.

There may be other incidents of this nature and we are asking members of the community to come forward with any information.

The suspect is described as follows:

  • Male. Brown skinned.
  • 5’9, slim build, with dark hair, facial chin strap
  • Male was last seen wearing a grey toque, grey V neck sweater (long sleeve) dark coloured pants.
