SECURITY BULLETIN: Student robbed of smartphone near fountain

TORONTO − A York student was robbed of her Blackberry Bold smartphone at 8:30pm on Monday, March 21, 2011, near the fountain in the Harry W. Arthurs Common at York’s Keele campus.

The robbery was reported late Tuesday. York Security is assisting Toronto Police Service in the investigation of the incident.

The suspect is described as follows:
Male, Black, 6’1” tall, slim build, 20-30 years of age, wearing a dark hoodie and a dark hat.
