Male community member reports washroom sex assault

January 20, 2011 – York Security Services reports that a male York community member was sexually assaulted in the basement men’s washroom in Curtis Lecture Hall on Wednesday January 19, 2011.

At approximately 1:30pm, the community member was in a washroom stall when someone in the adjoining stall reached under the divider and touched him.  The community member, in turn, immediately exited the washroom without having seen anything but the suspect’s arm.  He did not sustain any injuries and declined reporting the incident to police.

The washroom was busy at the time of the incident, as all stalls were occupied.  Anyone who may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact York Security Services at 416-736-5333 or campus extension 33333.
