York U to announce major donation for Lassonde School of Engineering

TORONTO, Sept. 25, 2014 – York University President and Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri will announce a major donation for York’s Lassonde School of Engineering on Monday, Sept. 29. It will be the largest gift ever made to the university by a York alumnus.

The event will include comments by President Shoukri and the donors. A student will introduce guests to an interactive element and invite them to experience the innovative way classrooms will work in the new engineering school.
