SECURITY BULLETIN: Robbery near Vanier Residence

TORONTO At approximately 7:15pm on Friday, February 11, 2011, a male student reported he had been robbed on the walkway on the south side of Vanier Residence. The student reported that two males approached him, took his cell phone and $30 in cash and ran south toward York Lanes parking lot. One of the suspects indicated he had a handgun, although no weapon was seen. There were no injuries.

York Security is assisting Toronto Police Service (TPS) in the investigation of the incident.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1
Male, Black, 5’9”, average build, last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark pants and a black bandana.

Suspect #2
Male, Black, 6’2”, average build, last seen wearing a black hoodie.
