Security Bulletin: Robbery at VIVA bus stop

York University, November 2, 2010 – York Security reports that at approximately 10:40pm on Monday, Nov.1, a York University student sitting on a bus at the VIVA bus stop was approached by a black male who entered the bus, grabbed the student’s cell phone and fled with three accomplices who waited outside. The suspects headed east toward the Harry Sherman Crowe Co-Op Building. No injuries were sustained.

Toronto Police Service is investigating and has issued the following suspect descriptions:

Suspect #1 - male black, 6’3", medium build, short dark hair, wearing a bluish purple hoodie with a gold design all over it and dark blue baggy jeans;
Suspect # 2 -male black, light complexion, 6’3", skinny build, wearing a brown zip-up sweater;
Suspect #3
- male black, 5’6", short dark hair, wearing a grey hoodie and dark pants;
Suspect #4 -male black, 5’4"-5’6", wearing dark clothing.
