Police investigate attempted robbery
TORONTO, March 5, 2010 -- In the early morning hours of March 5, 2010 York Security responded to a report of an attempted robbery in a Sentinel Rd. parking lot area at the south end of York’s Keele campus.
The victim, a York community member, was confronted by three males who attempted to rob him. He was able to vacate the area unharmed and with all of his property. The victim declined to file a report of the incident to Toronto Police Service.
All York community members are asked to be vigilant and report any and all suspicious behaviour and to take extra precautions around campus.
