TORONTO, January 16, 2010 -- In the past week, we have seen images of great suffering resulting from the earthquake that has devastated Haiti. On behalf of the entire York community, I want to extend our sincere sympathy to those who have suffered the loss of loved ones.
The York community is profoundly affected by this event: York has a number of students from Haiti, and many students, staff and faculty have close ties to Haiti; our thoughts are with you.
