On Tuesday the 15^th of September 2009 in the evening hours a 23 year-old female York University student was in the University's Scott Library. It is alleged that the accused followed her into a secluded aisle of books where he sexually assaulted her. The victim reported the matter to security and police. 
 

On Friday the 18^th of September 2009 University security were again called to the library by an anonymous caller alleging she had just been sexually assaulted. This caller left the library before being interviewed by police.  Security located the suspect and police were called. After investigation the accused was charged in relation to the assault on the September 15^th. The incident on September 18^th is still under investigation.

Charged is Aaron ZUKEWICH, a 21 yr old student of the University. He is charged with one count of sexual assault. He is being held for a bail hearing at Old City Hall Court.

The police are trying to determine if there were any other incidents  Anyone with information regarding the incident on the 15^th. and/or the 18^th of September, or any other sexual assault at York University are asked to call police at 31 Division, 416-808-3104. Contact Det. Andrew Kis.
