TORONTO, December 20, 2007 -- There is still time to donate to York University’s York to the Power of 50 fundraising campaign during the 2007 tax year, and to help the York University Foundation take another step toward its campaign goal of $200 million.
Donors who contribute to the campaign on or before December 31 will receive the benefit of a 2007 tax receipt. Donations can be made online by clicking here or by calling 416 650 8210. Donations postmarked after December 31, 2007 will receive a charitable tax receipt for credit in the 2008 calendar year.
York University Foundation recently embarked on the York to the Power of 50 fundraising campaign, the largest in the University’s history. The $200 million campaign celebrates York's first 50 years of exponential growth, and prepares the University for an even more remarkable future in “redefining the possible.”
