Notice of Service Interruption, Electrical
TORONTO, November 15, 2007 -- Please be advised that at 12:25pm today the external Hydro One electrical grid had a power failure that affected the Toronto Hydro Steeles substation.
Toronto Hydro is working to resolve a continued power outage at the following York University buildings (these buildings are not connected to the university's electrical system):
Accolade Building East
Bennett Centre for Student Services
Student Services Parking Garage
Seneca @ York
Technology Enhanced Learning Centre
The Seymour Schulich Building
Executive Learning Centre
Toronto Hydro has indicated that they are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
York University has temporarily restored power to the following buildings through use of its cogeneration units:

West Office Building
Farquharson Life Sciences Building
Steacie Science & Engineering Library
East Office Building
Stong College & Residence
Norman Bethune College & Residence
