TRANSPORTATION NOTICE

In the event of a possible Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) strike, York University’s Transportation Services is promoting a RIDE-MATCH program to assist members of the York community who rely on the TTC to get to and from the campus.

The University, its offices and libraries will remain open. Students should note that all classes and exams will continue as scheduled.

The earliest possible strike/lock out date is Thursday, March 31 at midnight.  Should a strike occur, the TTC will not operate buses, streetcars, subways, or the Scarborough rapid transit line.

“RIDE-MATCH”

CAR POOLING PROGRAM

 

RIDE-MATCH program, in cooperation with the Smart Commute Association of Black Creek (SC-BC), will be offering help to those in need of transportation to and from campus.  The car pool database will link those affected with individuals wishing to provide rides.  If you need a ride or are willing to drive other community members or co-workers, register at:
