Is Canadian patriotism waning this July 1st?

TORONTO, June 30, 2004 -- Letters to the editor and callers to radio talk programs demonstrate that many Canadians are in a less than a stellar mood following this week’s federal election. And many political pundits are saying that the election results show a growing regional divide across the country.

 

On the eve of Canada Day, York University Political Science Professor Daniel Drache, associate director of York’s Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies, is available to offer up informed and timely commentary on the patriotic pulse of the nation.
