TORONTO, May 6, 2004 -- Osgoode Hall Law School of York University will present Vernissage – an exciting evening of great art and music with budding artists who by day are Toronto professionals – on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at The Boiler House in Toronto’s Distillery District.
Proceeds from the event will be used to fund Osgoode’s first youth program called World View Conference: Youth Exploring Global Issues and the Law. The conference, which will take place from June 22 to 27 at Osgoode’s Professional Development Centre in downtown Toronto, will give Grades 9 to 12 students a chance to learn from the brightest legal minds about some of the pressing challenges facing the world and how Toronto youth can make a difference. For more on the World View Conference, please go to http://worldviewyouth.osgoode.yorku.ca
