TORONTO, March 22, 2004 -- York University’s Men’s Lions Hockey team has advanced to the national championships.
York Seeded No. 3 for CIS Men's Hockey National Championship
The OUA Champion York University Lions men's hockey team will enter the 2004 CIS Men's Hockey Championship, March 25-28 at the University of New Brunswick, as the No. 3 seed.
The Lions, who advanced to the University Cup for the second-straight year and 10th overall, will be joined by St. FX (AUS Champion) and Dalhousie (AUS Finalist) in Pool B. The University of Alberta (Canada West Champion), the University of Ottawa (OUA Finalist) and UNB (host) make up Pool A.
