York U's Osgoode Hall Law School welcomes 150 new Canadian citizens

TORONTO, February 19, 2004 -- The Immigration Law Society (ILS) of Osgoode Hall Law School of York University will be hosting a Special Citizenship Swearing-in Ceremony on Friday, March 5, in the Moot Court Room of Osgoode Hall Law School located at 4700 Keele Street, Toronto.

 

The ceremony will begin at 2:15 p.m. The event is being organized in cooperation with Citizenship and Immigration Canada - GTA Central Office.

 

The ILS is a pro-active student organization committed to increasing awareness and understanding affecting immigrants and refugees in Canada. In addition, the ILS aims to provide support and resources to immigrants and refugees through various avenues such as workshops, seminars and community outreach programs that will facilitate access to immigration law practitioners and concerned students.
