TORONTO, December 5, 2002 -- As part of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women on Friday, Dec. 6, York University will pay tribute to the 14 women who were slain at Montreal's L'Ecole Polytechnique in 1989 and all women victims of violence.
The tribute, which will feature visual and video presentations throughout the day and live violin and vocal music performances from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will take place in York's Vari Hall Rotunda, 4700 Keele Street.
