TORONTO, November 21, 2002 -- Dr. Sherry Cooper, Executive Vice-President, BMO Financial Group and Chief Economist, BMO Nesbitt Burns, will be the guest speaker at the November 27, breakfast meeting of the York Business and Professional Alliance.
Dr. Cooper’s presentation, "Volatility: Finding a Bottom", will examine the latest developments in today’s constantly changing economic and financial landscape, and offer insights into near-term risks and a successful long-run financial strategy.
Dr. Cooper, ranked the top GDP forecaster in the United States by Bloomberg News, is in constant demand as a speaker and writer because of her ability to simplify and demystify the murky waters of economics and finance. Dr. Cooper makes regular appearances on CNBC, CNN, CBC and CTV. She is also the author of two best-selling books, The Cooper Files and Ride the Wave.
