TORONTO, June 8, 2001 -- Moses Znaimer, CityTV co-founder, president and executive producer and Mark Starowicz, head of CBC documentary programming including the widely acclaimed Canada: A People’s History, will receive honorary degrees from York University on Monday, June 11.

Znaimer will receive his honorary Doctor of Letters degree (DLitt) and will address convocation at 2:30 p.m.

Starowicz will receive his honorary Doctor of Letters degree (DLitt) and will address convocation at 6:30 p.m.

Media welcome to attend. Both convocation ceremonies will be held on York's Keele Campus, in the Convocation tent, located east of the Centre for Film and Theatre, 4700 Keele Street.
