Expert available on the myths and facts of UV rays

Toronto, July 17, 2013  –  With UV Index at 10 or very high, as extreme heat alert continues, protecting yourself from the harmful effects of Ultra Violet rays is essential. York University Professor Tom McElroy, co-inventor of UV Index is available to talk on the negative effects of UV rays, including sunburn, and to offer tips to avoid exposure to the rays.
