York University breaking ground on new Engineering Building − Monday

TORONTO, June 14, 2013 – York University will begin construction on Monday of a new building for its Lassonde School of Engineering, designed to encourage collaborative learning for a new type of engineer.

Dean Janusz A. Kozinski, of the Lassonde School of Engineering, will oversee the groundbreaking ceremony, which will include remarks by York University President and Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri, and the Honourable Brad Duguid, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities.
