TORONTO, Dec. 6, 2011 – York University’s speaker series “Conversations on Work and Labour” will tackle the topic of back-to-work legislation in the public sector on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
Labour lawyer and legal scholar Eric Tucker, of Osgoode Hall Law School, will speak with Denis Lemelin, president of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.
Tucker will speak about how the federal government is using back-to-work legislation. Lemelin will discuss how his union is challenging it.
The Conversations on Work & Labour Series is organized by the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies and Osgoode Hall Law School.
