Media Advisory: Major gift for dementia care research to be announced at York University on Tuesday

TORONTO, Sept. 16, 2019 – York University and the Alzheimer Society of York Region will announce a major new initiative to advance dementia care, on Tuesday morning.

The announcement, which comes in the lead-up to World Alzheimer’s Day 2019 (Saturday, Sept. 21), will include remarks by the donor, a retired York University professor who also has a personal connection to the Alzheimer Society of York Region.
